Ballon
All the nostalgia of Paris 1900 emanates from these "Le Bistrot" glasses published by Verrerie La Rochère.
At the beginning of the 20th century, bistros began to appear in the bustling, lively popular neighborhoods of Paris, becoming central elements of neighborhood life. These small establishments serving drinks and coffee also acted as small restaurants, frequented by regular customers. In these bistros, the zinc counter was the favored place for socializing over a drink. Around 1920, a balloon glass appeared for enjoying red and white wine at the counter.
A glass with convivial shapes around which the French would gather at the counter. This emblematic "Le Bistrot" glass, reissued by Verrerie La Rochère, is a witness to daily adventures.
