At La Rochère, we don’t just work with glass — we dance with it.

Our glassworks has proudly preserved its traditional character and historical values. Its memory, in essence — everything that defines its DNA.
While the process of glassmaking has evolved and become more mechanised over time, we remain deeply rooted in our heritage.

At La Rochère, we are committed to crafting a harmonious balance between innovative engineering and artistic sensibility. We are equally dedicated to keeping traditional glassmaking skills alive. That’s why we welcome over 70,000 visitors a year to our workshop — to share with you not just our expertise, but the passion that drives everything we do.

Our Expertise – Pressed Glass

By diversifying its craft, La Rochère has become a specialist in pressed glass, developing high-performance mechanical production tools. With a strong focus on innovation and engineering, the company continues to evolve, always in step with the times.

Our unique manufacturing process, rooted in traditional glassmaking gestures, gives La Rochère’s everyday glassware its signature strength and character — with design playing a central role.

Thanks to our technical know-how and exceptional production flexibility, La Rochère also creates bespoke collections for renowned brands.

Mouth-Blown Crystal

Passed down through over five centuries of passion, skill, and patience, glassblowing is a demanding art form. Mastering the craft takes around ten years of training to achieve full command of its tools and materials.

These traditional techniques are rare and invaluable, producing truly remarkable results. Today, they come to life in a wide variety of creations — from tableware and lighting to decorative objects and bespoke designs.

La Rochère is proud to preserve this historic, artisanal expertise and invites you to discover our craftsmanship first-hand through guided visits at our site.
